I focus on homemade recipes that include simple, real ingredients. I do have a sweet tooth so you’ll find many of my favorite treats (not to be confused for “health food”).
I fully believe that food should be enjoyed and sweets can be a part of a healthy diet in moderation (and when made without preservatives, modified foods or chemicals).
That being said, you’ll find many treats with a few of my family’s favorite savory dishes thrown in the mix!
My recipes offer step by step instructions and photos as well as substitutions, where it makes sense, to give you the best chance at success.

- I started reading when I was about 3 and have always LOVED a good book. I’ve read just about every book available in the kids section of the local library.
- My husband and I have been married for almost 5 years and originally met at a CrossFit competition where I was competing.
- My favorite TV shows include Next Level Chef, Hells Kitchen and pretty much anything that involves watching people bake cookies and cakes.
My journey began in the lush landscapes of Washington State, where I discovered my love of baking from a young age.
My childhood is filled with memories of my first cooking experiences as I created family meals and treats from Hamburger Helper and Betty Crocker blueberry muffins.
My culinary adventure was set in motion.
My grandmother helped ignite my passion for cooking! She instilled in me a love for preserving traditions by canning jam together, and experimenting with recipes collected from the pages of newspapers for all our family gatherings.
My story doesn’t stop at the kitchen stove. With more than a decade of experience coaching CrossFit and personal training, I focus on always learning and improving my skills as a professional coach and fitness enthusiast. Holding certifications as both a Nutritionist and Health & Fitness Coach from Pierce College, I’m is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve holistic wellness.
